Care Instructions

Our lovely garments have not been pre-washed before they reach you, so we recommend washing them before their first use.

It is important to remember that natural fibers like Pima Cotton can shrink up to 4% in their first wash, but will maintain their size afterward. For longer usage of our garments, we recommend sizing up.

Our clothes are strong and durable, but proper washing can extend their beauty and elegance.

Washing

Hand washing is always desirable, but machine washing on a gentle cycle using low temperatures (30°C) is also an option. It is best to separate colors from whites to avoid any possible color transfer and to wash the garment inside out. Avoid using fabric softeners and bleaching.

Drying

We recommend air drying or using a drying machine in a low-temperature setting. For added care, you can combine these two methods by setting your drying machine for a shorter time and then finishing the drying process outside by laying the garment flat on a clean surface.

Ironing

Ironing can be avoided if the garment is hung immediately after machine drying, but if you were busy with something else (as we all are), don't worry - you can still cool iron as needed, avoiding the embroidery details and printed labels.

Extra Tips

- Use liquid detergent as it tends to rinse away better. Powder detergent is not recommended for baby clothes, as it can leave flakes and irritate the baby's skin.

- Before washing, check for stains and treat them with a few drops of dishwasher liquid soap (or a mixture of baking soda and white vinegar). Let the garment soak for a few minutes (5-10), and then put it in the washing machine.
